Lovely Day

I woke up early this day, took a fresh morning bath and immediately faced the computer. Well, here I am. Blogging. Yesterday was a very lonely day. Electricity and water went out. I can still remember how things happened so fast. I was watching Average Joe 4 when the cable suddenly disappeared.The TV displayed gray sparky streaks or something. I felt bummed of course. I expected it to come back after a little while but the TV shut down. I opened a faucet and nothing was coming out of it. I just hated it. Terrible terrible day. I wanted to sleep the whole day but you can hardly sleep when a gallon of sweat is dripping from your face. Electricity went back at 5 pm. Now I know, I can't live without cable TV.

Oh well, as you can see, I changed my blog layout. My old one was too shabby. What was I even thinking when I decided to use it? The color was so not me and the tagboard looked outdated. It was a plain jane. I grew tired of it.
The current blogskin I am using is totally rockin'. The pastel shade of pink gives it a "home-y" feeling. Plus, the entire layout is very organized. There are individual links for the entries, profile, and tagboard. Not to mention the display space is big enough for the pictures I'll be posting. How cool is that?? This one is nice but the white background makes it look all empty and boring.





I find this one too childish. The display space is too small. My sister is using this blogskin.






This skin is pretty cool but it has this "dark aura". There is also no space for a tagboard.

Speaking of tagboard, I am now using a cbox. It's prettier. If you're planning to make a blog, I suggest you use a cbox. Tagboards are really boring. www.cbox.ws

Guilty Confession

Haay.I am back. I was gone for quite a long time. I gave up blogging as a Lenten sacrifice.It was the least thing I could have done for all the bitchyness I did this Lent. I failed to go to mass, ate meat during Fridays and I was a jackass who was too lazy to pray. Just remembering how sinful I am makes me feel all guilty again. I felt the same way when I happened to watch a little portion of "The passion of Christ" last Good Friday. Yeah. Just a small portion of it was enough to make me realize how "un-Christian" I am.

I admit, I am one of those who are struggling to be a devout Catholic. But somehow, its pretty hard to be one. Sure, I go to massbut whenever I do, my mind travels to Neverland. I also confessmonthly but the moment I step out of the church, I return to my evil ways again. Worse, without realizing it, I end up praying selfish prayers.

Oh my golly...guilt..that is what I feel now. I have been really bad. Oh well, the best thing to do now is to move forward and try to be better. My starting point is to attend mass regularly. The rest will follow. I'll end this post with this statment:
"Everyday is a new Challenge of Transformation".

This week is Holy

Yesterday marked the start of Holy Week. It was Palm Sunday and i missed it! I was sick yesterday. I was bedridden the whole morning. I felt like dying. But eventually, my healing powers came out and I am perfect right now. Anyway, I totally think it's time for some gossip right now so here are the scoops:






The Spears family recently had a family reunion to celebrate Jamie Lynn's 15th birthday. Everyone was all dressed up and having fun. I love Jamie's dress worn with those white flats. Jamie's fashion is so like Brit's but in this pic, she's rockin'. To tell you, I think Jamie is a lame actress. I hate her. I hate all the Spears. That's all.. :D






The Olsen twins are again out in LA. Mk is disguised as an old man together with her piggy,bald bodyguard. She looks awful. She is a stick figure. I like her green Balenciaga bag though.
Ashley is not disguised however. Her shoes are caliente. As you can see, the Olsen twins love fat bodyguards. Lol.





I honestly think Rachel Bilson as a girlfriend is such a brat. Look at the picture!!! It was taken at THE OC set which I am a big fan of. But they look cute together. Check out Adam's hawt hawt underwear expose.






Look at this ridiculous picture of Lindsay Lohan wearing a skull cap. She looks very skinny. You know what, I suddenly became anti-stupid girls after watching Pink's hot new MTV. She is so true about the whole video.

Among them, my top 5 faves are: The notebook, A lot like Love, The Island, Just like Heaven and Gothika.
Chasing Liberty is over rated. I don't like it. The ending is so fecth. I'm very disappointed.
The Island is just phenomenal. The plot is amazing. God, I love it. Its one of my favorite movies.
A lot like Love's soundtrack is very nice. I am currently downloading it.

Same old

I know I mentioned that I want this summer to be different but somehow, things just don't turn out the way I want them to. It is as if I live in a cycle that goes on and on. My summer days are quite the same and stereotypical. What a Bummer!!!

Anyway, last Monday, I happened to stumble upon this really cool show. It's "Project Runway". I've heard about it before but I thought it was just another reality show. Well it is but I love it.



It's a show dedicated to give designer hopefuls a shot at fame and fortune as they compete in weekly challenges and are given all the resources of a top designer to prepare a competitive runway show for the next New York Fall Fashion Week. The weekly challenges are really interesting. Yesterday, they were tasked to create the dreamy wedding gowns of their model clients. Gosh, models are such self-absorbing airheads.This week, they'll make swimsuits that can also be used as evening wear. Not to mention, they are only given 48 hours to complete their wardrobe. I guess I found the show that is perfectly for me.

Today, my sister Abby will be flying home at 4 pm. Woohooo!!! I miss her so much. She's in college.Specifically in UP Diliman.How cool is that? She's the Smartypants in the bunch. I haven't seen her for like 3 months. She comes home during Christmas and Sembreaks only.
Well, at least now that she's home, they're something to do....gossip!
